Founded in Maryland in 2008, Dogs of War Airsoft has become a beacon for enthusiasts of the airsoft community. Known for its camaraderie, strategic gameplay, and dedication to the sport, this team has made significant strides, evolving from a local group to a formidable presence across the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Despite a brief hiatus in 2016, the spirit of the Dogs of War was reignited in 2022, expanding its reach and welcoming members from states like Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
A Community of Passion and Precision
Dogs of War is more than just an airsoft team; it’s a family that shares a passion for military simulation (Mil-Sim) games and the thrill of the battlefield. This multi-regional team partakes in a variety of events, from intense multi-day Mil-Sim events to exhilarating one-day games, traveling across states to showcase their skill, strategy, and teamwork.

Joining the Ranks
For those looking to join this distinguished group, Dogs of War maintains a clear and inclusive recruitment process. Potential recruits, aged 18 and above, are invited to experience a day of play, ensuring a mutual fit for both the individual and the team. Sponsorship by a patched member initiates a recruit into a trial period, during which they are expected to integrate into the team culture, participate in events, and gear up for the adventures ahead.
Gearing Up for Glory
Dogs of War emphasizes uniformity and preparedness on the field, requiring recruits to equip themselves with essential gear. From airsoft replicas and plate carriers to full-seal ballistic eye protection and specific Multicam Battle Dress Uniforms (BDUs), each piece of equipment is chosen to enhance communication, performance, and safety. Recommendations and guidance are readily available from patched members, ensuring recruits are battle-ready and aligned with the team’s standards.
A Bond Forged in Battle
Upon completing the trial period and garnering the approval of existing members, new recruits are warmly welcomed into the fold, marked by the ceremonial bestowing of the PVC team patch. Members of the New England team receive the distinct Green Mountain Boys PVC patch, symbolizing their commitment and unity under the Dogs of War banner.
The Call to Arms
Dogs of War Milsim stands as a testament to the spirit of airsoft—a sport that combines the thrill of combat with the values of teamwork, strategy, and respect. With open arms, the team continues to welcome individuals who share their zeal for adventure, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of excellence on the battlefield.
